He is survived by: his mother Betty Russell (Maddix); his spouse Sheryll Deters; his sons, Brian Russell and Kevin Russell (Typhanie); his grandchildren, Jacob Russell, Tristen Russell and Neilon Russell; his great grandchildren, Aurora Russell and Jack Russell; and his siblings, Janet Hooker, Samantha Gajewski, Debbie Lawson and Percival "Buddy" Russell.
