She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Burhans and Helen Burhans; her stepdaughter Debbie Nielsen; and her siblings, Marilyn Church, Norman, Nelson and Louis Burhans.

She is survived by: her stepdaughter Becky Switzer of Vestaburg; her close friend Betsy Rhodes; and her pet Missy. She is also survived by eight grandchildren.
