He was predeceased by: his father Russell Brownlee; and his aunt Lynne Poteau. He is survived by: his mother Gayle Forsythe Brownlee (Forsythe); his daughters, Samantha Hahn (James) and Mallory Hoek (Thomas) of Grand Rapids; his grandson David Hoek; his siblings, Mark Brownlee and Susan Roberts (Thomas); his nephew Steven Roberts; and his nieces, Allison and Lauren Roberts.
