He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Smith (Betty) and Marilyn Sisco (Ed); his wife Janet Smith (Felker); and his brother Jim Smith. He is survived by: his daughters, Janaya Swarthout (Jay) and Naomi Howard (Blair); his girlfriend Jeanette Potter; his grandchildren, Haley Ash, Kaven Ash, Caleigh Howard, Mitchell Howard and Tori Swarthout; and his siblings, Bonnie Sprague (Al), Butch Smith (Judy), Cliff Smith (Pat), Darlene Smith and Karen Thiel.
