She was predeceased by: her father Lionel Grant; her husband Kenneth C. Crane; and her siblings, Lionel, Theresa, Thelma, Chalmer, Shirley, Beverly, Perdita, Timothy, Jacob, Robert and Beatrice.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark Crane (Nancy) and David Crane (Danielle); her grandchildren, David II, Devin, Nathanael, Asher, Mark II, Winston and Monica; and her brothers, Gerald and Daniel. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions in Dorothy's name can be directed the the Hospice House of Shiawassee County.
