She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth and Catherine (Williams); her husband Melvin Shuster; and her son Michael Shuster. She is survived by: her children, Terry Shuster (Wendy) and Lori Nordhof (Tom); her grandchildren, Kristin Baer, Megan Brabo, Emily Heslip (David) and Nathan; her stepgrandson Trevor Kimber (Kim); and her siblings, David Cromie (Jodeen), Marianne Arnold (Tom), Barbara Roberts and Charlotte Walker.
