He was predeceased by: his parents, August Hatzke and Agnes Hatzke (Zahn); and his siblings, Joseph Hatzke, Elizabeth Guthrie and Mary Boyd.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Louise Rohde of Hemlock; and his pet Bear. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and many friends.
