He was predeceased by: his father Donald E. McVannel; and his grandparents, Warnie, Lu McVannel, Robert and Eva Fisher.
He is survived by: his children, Kaylee McVannel (Mason Branigan) of Mt. Pleasant, Treavor McVannel of Panama City, FL, Taylor McVannel of Kalamazoo and Connor McVannel (Emma Albrecht) of Midland; his siblings, Steve McVannel of Gaylord and Cheryl McVannel of Hemlock; and the mother of his children Jill McVannel of Saginaw. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family, and friends.
