With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawrence M. Jerman of Hemlock, Michigan, born in Niagara Falls, New York, who passed away on September 14, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Jerman and Robena Jerman; and his sister-in-law Nancy Scales. He is survived by: his wife Carol A. Hatfield; his son Brandon Jerman (Ashley); his grandchildren, Kole and Hadley Jerman; his siblings, Ron Jerman (Maurene), Jeff Jerman (Lisa), Andy Jerman (Sue), Amy, Todd Jerman (Linda) and Tim Jerman; and his brothers-in-law, Randy Scales and David Hatfield (Lori).

“I knew Larry due to our competing in racquetball and paddleball at the Saginaw YMCA. Larry was highly respected by all the players. Over the years Larry and I joked and teased each other. It was great fun and made our sessions at the Y even more entertaining to all who were there. During my calls to Larry over the past year or two, he always expressed an interest in returning to the Y. Those were great days, and Larry was a big part of that.”
