With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jane Kathleen (Koeppen) Wardin of Hemlock, Michigan, born in Saginaw, Michigan, who passed away on September 2, 2020 at the age of 93. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Koeppen and Emilie Koeppen (Heinrich); her husband Alvin W. Wardin; her son James R. Wardin; and her granddaughter Melanie Custard.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kathleen (Richard Schiemann), Susan (Gordon Briggs) and Mary (Scott Paquette); her daughter-in-law Angela Wardin of Kansas City, KS; her grandchildren, Jonathan Schiemann (Lindsey), Christopher Schiemann (Katie), Daniel Briggs (Sarah), Rachael Hill (Travis), Danielle Cook (Nathan), David Paquette and Amy Hey (Matt); her sister Shirley Stresman (Kenneth); and her close friend Francis Emeott. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Pursuant to the current state executive order face covers are required, and social distancing is encouraged. We appreciate everyone's efforts to reduce the spread of covid-19 in our community.
