He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gerald Wilson and Nadine Laverne Carey; his sister Kathryn Laverne Tubb; his wife Kathryn Carey; his children, Kim Pretzer (Michael), Keith Carey (Jennifer), Kristine LaRose (James) and Kevin Carey (Renee); his grandchildren, Stephanie (Justin), Heather (Joshua), Morgan (Samuel), Emilie (Benjamin), Victoria (Tyler), Samantha (Jordan), Alexis, Kameron (Lucia), Breanna, Reegan, Elijah, Kristin (Jeffrey), Nolan, Rustin (Rylee) and Julianne; his brothers, William David Carey (Diane) and James Otto Carey (Sharon); and his adoptive son Joseph Mooney (Rebecca). He was also cherished by nine great grandchildren.
Due to the Worldwide Health Pandemic, State guidelines will be followed, visitors are required to wear masks and follow social distancing.
