We are sad to announce that on April 20, 2025, at the age of 94, Thuraya Ayar (Hazel Park, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Thuraya departs from our midst, their spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Thuraya. Though Thuraya may no longer walk beside us, their legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A reception was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sahara Restaurant & Banquet Center (2390 Metro Pkwy, Sterling Heights, MI 48310).
