She was predeceased by: her spouse Faraj Antwan Ausman; her daughter Nadia Antawan; and her parents, Yalda Odeesh and Najma Butrus. She is survived by: her children, Nazar, Nabeel, Nadeem, Thaer, Nameer, Numaan, Nadeer and Noor; and her siblings, Sabri, Mariem, Sabryia, Kamila, Manuel, Dulor and Jalal Salmoo.

A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mar Addai Chaldean Catholic Church (24010 Coolidge Hwy, Oak Park, MI 48237). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lincoln Memorial Cemetery (E 14 Mile Rd, Michigan).
