It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Hood of Hazel Park, Michigan, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her son Robert Michael Hood (Toni); her parents, Robert T. Jenkins and Mattie L. Jenkins (Frank); her siblings, Ruthie Mae Frank, Margaret Jane Cardin, Barbara Ann Laugherty and James Louis Jenkins; and her daughter-in-law Carol Ann Hood (Charles A. Hood).
She is survived by: her children, Charles Steven Hood (Trudy), Randy Warren Hood (Denise) and Shelley Hood Taylor (Eric Hollaway); and her grandchildren, Carrie Ann Seehoffer (Mike), Nicole Lynn Higgins (Ben), Linsey Pollard (Jimmy), Michael Bradley Hood (Melissa), Jackie Hood, Brandon Hood, Matthew Hood, Travis Taylor (Kelly), Hailey Taylor, Mya, Charlotte, Lily, Ruby, Addison, Callie, Braden, Harper, Hudson, Reese and Tatum.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion Chapel (111 E Flint St, Lake Orion, MI 48362). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Corinth Cemetery.
