She was predeceased by: her spouse Tarik Ghizi; and her parents, Saliwa Khoshaba and Fahima Elias Salmo. She is survived by: her siblings, George, Anwar, Aylin, Allen, Farok, Shatha, Nada and Shaba.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary Assyrian Catholic Church (4320 14 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A reception was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Mary Assyrian Catholic Church (4320 14 Mile Rd, Warren, MI 48092).
