She was predeceased by: her husband Muneer Khayat; and her siblings, Ferial Stephan, Zaya, Manuel, Kamel, Mary, Samira and Samir Stephan.
She is survived by: her children, Nadira and Nada (Amer); her grandchildren, Marwan (Martina) and Maher; and her great grandchildren, Naya and Theo.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Martys Chaldean Catholic Church (43700 Merrill Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48314). A committal service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mound Palace Banquet Hall (17 Mile Rd, Sterling Heights, MI 48310).
