He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lydy and Reba Lydy (Falconer); his brother Gary Lydy; his niece Sandra Gregory; and his nephews, Randy Lydy and TJ Heath.
He is survived by: his wife Jan (Hubbell); his daughters, Cara Harmsen (Jack) and Cheryl Olsen (Alan); his brothers, Shannon Lydy (Lynette) and Michael Lydy (Rebecca); and his sister-in-law Betty Lydy. He is also survived by five grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Barry County Commission on Aging, 320 W. Woodlawn Ave.
