It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sylvia Ann Britten of Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald Britten and Dixie Britten (Leonard); her siblings, Robert Britten and Gloria Travis; and her brother-in-law Randy Ellis.
She is survived by: her children, John Higgins II, Ben Andrus (Amber) and Melissa Rivera (Tony); her grandchildren, Daniel Andrus, Tony, Alan, Alicia and Alanna Rivera; her siblings, Jerry, Chris, Gary Britten, Ruth Ellis and Beckie Harwood (Ed); her stepsisters, Pam Adams (Jamey) and Terrie Clemens; and her uncle Sherman Leonard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family to help cover the cost of funeral expenses.
