Stephen Paul John Alflen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Paul John Alflen (Hastings, Michigan), born in Plainwell, Michigan, who passed away on February 6, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Alflen and Mary Lou Alflen (Walker); his brother Greg Alflen; his parents-in-law, Bruce and Beatrice Vrogindewey; and his sister-in-law Joy St John.
He is survived by: his wife Jill (Vrogindewey); his children, Petra, John Hinkle of Hastings, Heath, Jenifer Alflen of Linden, MI and Trevor Alflen of Avon Lake, Ohio.; and his siblings, Mary Jo Alflen (John Amdor), Tracy (Ron Tanner), Joan, Jim Culp, Richard St John, Jeannie and Rick Reniewicz. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hastings Baptist Church where Steve and Jill have been members for many years.
