He is survived by: his brother David Nicholas of Temecula; his half-sister Susan Nicholas of Plymouth; his children, Sharon Mooney (Jeff) of Howell, Steven Nicholas (Tami) of Hastings, Russell Nicholas (Marie) of Hastings and Karen Benefield (Dennis) of Pinckney; and his grandchildren, Cristin Galperin (Greg), Kim Halbert (Kyle), Ryan Nicholas (Kelly), Nathan Nicholas (Anna), Brittany Yenoir (Jeff), Amanda Nicholas, Brandon Nicholas, Ashley Benefield and Dylan Benefield. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
