With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard A. Sandeen (Hastings, Michigan), who passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Sandeen and Merlyn Sandeen (Houghtalin); his daughters, Lou Ann (Joe Chambers) of Wayland, MI and Teri Fitzpatrick (Tony) of Marshall, MI; his grandchildren, Sarah, Tommy, Brittany and Cassandra; his sister Janice Tooker; his niece Julie (John Ernst); and his nephew Ray Tooker (Stacey). He was also cherished by 6 great-grandchildren; only sibling.

For those who wish, memorial contributions may be directed to the Barry County Commission on Aging.

“We knew richard for a short time, picking him up to take him to faith church in delton. He enjoyed church, coffee hour after service and the monthly potluck. Our condolences to his family. He was very thoughtful. Loved talking to as many as he could. I enjoyed listening to his stories of his past work. He enjoyed always talking of his inventions he was working on. We well miss him.
