With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Oliver Harris Metzner of Hastings, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Gwendolyn; his daughter Rebecca Hammond; and his siblings, Jack, Arnold, Leona, Sarah, Elizabeth, Francis and Margaret.
He is survived by: his children, Melanie Bynum (Dale) of Texas, Carl Metzner (Nancy) of Michigan, Naomi Arp (Terry) of Ohio and Scott Metzner (Renee) of Michigan. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
