She was predeceased by: her parents, North Shellenbarger and Inez Shellenbarger; her husband Fred Birman; her son Charles Birman; her siblings, Waneta Leffel, Katherine Coleman, Robert and Richard Shellenbarger; and her close friends, Dorothy Glover and Nellie Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Margaret Eaton, Janice Smith, Jack Birman (Sandy) and Darrell Birman (Cheryl); her daughter-in-law Shirley Shade; and her grandchildren, Marsha James, Laura Eaton, Rick, Mellissa, John, Shawn, Tracey Birman, Jason and Nick Smith. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
