She was predeceased by: her parent Edson Henry Knight; her husband Howard Hamblin; her sons, Bruce Hamblin and Stanley Hamblin; her mother Bertha Knight (Ragar); her half-brothers, Leon and Leonard Palmer; and her siblings, La Verna Albrecht, Leo Knight, Loren Knight, Lawrence Knight, Lyle Knight and Leslie Knight.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol; her children-in-law, Jim Dickinson of Hastings, MI, Vickie and Michael Lipsey of Lakeland, FL; her grandchildren, Nathan, Amanda Hamblin, Elizabeth, James Slager, Daniel, Angie Dickinson, Kevin, Hannah Lipsey, Matthew, Angelina Dickinson, Janiece Lipsey, Angela, Kenny Lane and Stephen Dickinson; her sister-in-law Millie Knight; her dear neighbor Judy Dickerson; and her favorite trombone player Mark Hurless. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
