She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Charles Thomas and Audrey Elaine Thomas (McCrumb); and her brother Bryan Thomas. She is survived by: her former husband Peter Aviles; and her stepdaughters, Tara Claudio of Chicago, IL, Daisy Aviles and Tatiana Ramos of New York. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-great-nephews.
