He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Henry Gergen and Eileen Heidt Gergen; his wife Alice; his son John Gergen (Missy); his grandchildren, Morgan, Peyton and Medusa; his children, Alison Bowen, Elle, Cole John, Gracie and Matthew Gergen (Casey); his grandchildren, Claire, Michael and Caroline Hastings; his siblings, Margaret Wahlen, Virginia Westland and William Gergen; his sisters-in-law, Laurie Propst and Linda Kirsh; and also Cole. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
