He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley James and Marjorie Ruth Gillespie (Tasker); and his nephew Trevor Gillespie. He is survived by: his brothers, Phil Gillespie (Susan) and Doug Gillespie (June) of Hastings; his nephews, Mike Gillespie of Hastings, Eric Gillespie (Brianna) of Adrian and Patrick Gillespie of Grand Rapids; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Breanna, Kaila, Kristen, Elizabeth, Maddox, MaKynlee, Masyn, Callie, Noah, Austin and Alexander.
