It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edwin Frederick in Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Frederick and Virginia Frederick-May (Lloyd); and his siblings, Brian Frederick and Marcia Frederick. He is survived by: his son James Arthur Frederick (Lorinda); his wife Linda Lee (Arndt); his daughters, Melissa Sabri (Sehbaz) and Amanda Frechette (Michael); his granddaughter Hannah Collins (Daniel); his great grandchild Emmett; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Heystek (Jimmy) and Caleb Sabri (Laura); his great grandchildren, Hosea, Zipporah, Shiloh, Sarah Hoekman (Nate), Megan Mortensen (Michael), Virginia Kate Frederick, James Brian Frederick, Lindsey Frechette, Gabriel Frechette and Abigail Frechette; his sister Linda Kay Frederick; and also Charlotte. He is also survived by his family, friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Hope United Methodist Church (2920 S. M37 HWY, Hastings 49058). Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the same location.
