He was predeceased by: his father Duane Peterson; and his niece Chelsea Peterson. He is survived by: his mother Margie Zera DeWent; his siblings, Brian Peterson (Liying), Sally Peterson and Cathy Moore (Ed); his niece Ashley Schwartz (Tad); his nephew Blake Moore; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Addalyn, Emily, Jayden Schwartz and Isaac Peterson.
