She was predeceased by: her parents, William Eldon Sears and Grace Irene Main; her siblings, Shirley Linker, Marvida Sears and Marshall Winans Jr.; and her grandchildren, Jordy Ray Purdum and Jessica Sue Purdum.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Ray Purdum Sr. of Hasting, MI; and her children, Chuck Ray Purdum Jr. (Cathy), Jeff L Purdum (Lonna), Candy Irene Starr (Ken) and Tony Lane Purdum. She is also survived by her brothers, sisters, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Gladys was involved in charity work as a member of the Moose Lodge restoring numerous dolls to be donated to the community.
