He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Knickerbocker and Alta Knickerbocker (Potter); his wife Harriet Knickerbocker (Parker); and his sons, Dale Knickerbocker and Mark Knickerbocker.
He is survived by: his son Bruce Knickerbocker (Vanessa); and his stepchildren, Stanley Stevens (Barbara) and Dorothy "Dot" Wilbur. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
