She was predeceased by: her parents, Elwood James and Stella Catherine Ivory (Rudolph); her son Steve Kennedy; her grandson Joseph; her children-in-law, Steve Moule and Evie Kennedy; her granddaughter Cathy Rayner; and her siblings, Louise, Gertrude, Hilda, Caroline, James, Ronnie and Bernadette.
