She is survived by: her husband William; her children, Charlene Tompkins (Skip) of Belmont, Marilyn Murphy (Larry) of Belmont and Doug Hewitt of Wilkesboro, NC; and her sister-in-law Mary Cotant. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
