He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Montgomery and Ruth Montgomery. He is survived by: his brother Thomas James Montgomery; his nieces and nephews, Carrie Lin Carr (Troy), Erin Joy MacRitchie (John) and Justin Thomas Montgomery; and his great-nephews, Ian, Ben and Max.
