He is survived by: his spouse Merle Claypool; his children, Scott Sears (Nita), Reneé Brummel (Lenny), Randy Sears (Kathy), April Keillor and Rachel Sears; his grandchildren, John (Amber), Samantha (Daniel), Randi Lee (David), A. J., Dustin (Bridgett), Bradly (Taylor), Jason, Zachary, Alexis (Paul), Bailey, LeLand and Waylon; his great grandchildren, James, Naomi, MacKenzie, Wyatt, Ellie, Henry, Isabelle, Jaelynn, Lydia, Lane and Johnathan; and his siblings, Lawrence Winans, Susan Cooley and Patricia Cooley.
