He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Horn; his children, Dale Jr. Hice (Julia) of Saranac and Dyanna Chesebro of Hastings; his grandchildren, Danyle Schiefla (Jonathan) of Grand Rapids, Dannette Rose (Lucas) of Grand Rapids, Derek Hice (Brittany) of Grand Rapids, Dale Hice III of Saranac and Abigail Hice of Saranac; his great grandchildren, Tanner Schiefla, Tolan Schiefla, Isaac Rose, Evelynn Rose and Elliott Hice; and his brother Duane Hice of Charlotte. He is also survived by two nieces and one nephew.
