It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clara Jean Roy (Hastings, Michigan), born in Pineville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 28, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Roy; her sister Adwina; her grandson Joshua Roy; and her parents, Sarah Marie and Arthur Shorter.
She is survived by: her children, Charlie "Moose", Abbie Roy, Alice Gahn, Shawn Gahn, Paul "Boomer", Mary Roy, Jeanette "GiGi" and Doug Healy; her brother Edward Shorter; her grandchildren, Holly (Daniel), Erik, Jalyn, Mitchell, Cole (Lauren), Logan, Andrew (Nicole), Alex, Ashley and Austin; her great grandchildren, Sophie, Elias, Ryleigh, Susan and Mary; and also, Dawn Shorter, Kenny Shorter, Rose Shorter and David Shorter.
