He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest G. Smith and Etoral Tift; his siblings, Don Smith (Pam), Vernon Smith, Sally VanHoughten (Jack) and Linford Smith; and his brother-in-law Lester Winters.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Yost (Smith), Chip Smith (Lisa), Tory Rosenburger (Smith) and Andy Smith (Linda); his grandchildren, Alex Lamay, Jason Smith, Adam Yost, Kris Klamka, Arie Klamka, AJ Yost, Kasey Klamka, Ethan Smith and Mason Webster; and his sister Pricilla Winters (Smith). He is also survived by 6 Great Grandchildren.
