Charles Chewning Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Chewning of Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on March 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arley Chewning and Margaret Chewning (Blankenship); his brothers, Jimmy Blankenship, Ken Chewning, Glen Blankenship and Arley Chewning; and his former spouse Icie Lena (Poling).
He is survived by: his brother Richard Riggleman; his wife Margaret Huey; and his children, Jerry Chewning (Sandra), Agnes Seeley (Wayne), Eva Chewning, Paula Jasperse (Doug), Doris Toronyi (Brian), Fred Huey (Teri) and John Huey (Angie). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses or donations may be made to Elara Hospice or a charity of your choosing.
