He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Simmons and Hugh Bert Simmons; his brothers, Will and Earl Simmons; his sons, Arthur R. Simmons II and Randall Simmons; and his grandchild Mackenzie Simmons.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy (Lake); his sons, Robert Simmons (Stacy) and Rick Simmons; and his siblings, Lloyd Simmons, Carol Patrick (Dave) and Judy Hose. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.
