He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew David and Viola Kennedy (Demott); his wife Beverly; his daughter Carla Jiles; his siblings, Michael, Andrew and Helen; and his daughters, Colleen Elliott (Gordon) and Christine Cotant (James).
He is survived by: his sister Lucille Mater (John); and his son-in-law Steven Jiles. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
