He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Russ, Eric, Lucille and Helen. He was also cherished by three sons who, along with their wives gave them 6 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations in memory of Walt may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Church.
