She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Benjamin and Edith Benjamin (Vorce); her husband Ellis Horton; her children, Clyde Horton, Helen and Sandra Horton; her grandson Timothy Duffield; her great grandchildren, Antonio Baca and Lily Duffield; and her siblings, Walter Benjamin (Ellen), Ray Benjamin (Lena), Ralph Benjamin (Noreen), Elmer Benjamin, Marjorie Pavlica (Tom), Helen Beach (Chuck), Betty Kesson (Ed) and Bonnie Robertson (Russell).
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Schmidt (Luke) of Bath, Gloria Horton of Morrice and Janet Nettleton (Sam) of Campobello; her grandchildren, Nikki Gubry (Jeremy) of Bath, Jason Schmidt (Jamie) of Dewitt, Amy, Matthew Duffield (Heather) of Alaska, Joel Duffield (Rita) of Alaska, Sam Nettleton (Paula) of Kincheloe, Amanda Nettleton (Jay Margherio) of Newberry and Jeremiah Nettleton (Ashley); her great grandchildren, Chris Gubry (Haley), Madison, Rylie Gubry, Katelyn, Evan Schmidt, Joshua, Ryan Baca, Jasmine, Rachael, Kael, Talise, Hayden, Serenity Duffield, Kayla Olmstead, Jennie, Marcus, Carley Nettleton, Sebastian Patterson, Iris, Asher Nettleton and Cisco Cuevas; and her great great grandchildren, Luka Gubry, Dayton, Winona, Elliott Olmstead, Camilla Brown, Nova Zellar and Camilla Cuevas. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM and at 1:15 PM at the Watkins Brothers Funeral Homes - Perry Chapel (214 S Main St, Perry, MI 48872). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 from 2:15 PM to 2:45 PM at the same location.
