She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kirkconnell and Ila Kirkconnell; her siblings, Wilma Kirkconnell, Lois Casey, Thomas and Alvin Kirkconnell; her husband John L. Simon; her sons, John and James; her daughter-in-law Lynne Simon; and her grandson Michael.
She is survived by: her children, Thomas Simon, Sr. (Mary Jane) of DeWitt and Sandra Simon of Lansing; and her sisters, Norma Marshall of Ann Arbor, Lucille Alford and Joyce Wise (John) of Lansing. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
