It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David R. Schlegel (Haslett, Michigan), born in Lansing, Michigan, who passed away on September 21, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Schlegel and Wavel Ruch Schlegel. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Lou Donn; his sons, David, Matthew and Mark; his grandson Chad; his children, Cody, Sydney, Zach, Madeleine, Chad, Bella and Dylan; and his sister Karen. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are sent to St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Haslett, Michigan and / or Sparrow Hospice in honor of David Schlegel.
