It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Joseph Lyszak of Hartland, Michigan, who passed away on May 30, 2022, at the age of 19, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Harry Daniel "Dan" Lyszak (Dan) and Ronald Wathen. He is survived by: his grandmother Cecelia Wathen; his parents, Michael Lyszak and Kathleen Lyszak; his sisters, Kaitlin and Jenna Lyszak; his grandmothers, Carol Ann Lyszak and Cecilia Wathen; his aunts, Chris Belt (Brian) and Patricia Dantes (Chuck); his uncle Jeremiah Wathen (Caitlin); and his cousins, Daniel, Callie of Jacquelin, C. J., Henry and Madeleine. He is also survived by many close friends and extended family.

Memorial contributions are encouraged in Michael's name to AFSP (American foundation for suicide prevention) and also https://gofund.me has been set up to assist the family.
