Lucille Lorenz Obituary
Lucille C. Lorenz age 88 of Hartland passed away Tuesday Evening June 25, 2013 at Oak haven Manor in Howell. She was born on September 28, 1924 in Durray, PA the daughter of Anthony and Margaret (Balonis) Barnouski. On August 4, 1944 she was married to Robert S. Lorenz in Sioux Falls, SD. Mr. Lorenz preceded her in death on October 12, 2001.
Lucille was a homemaker for most of her life. She enjoyed her family and friends and was a great caretaker. She enjoyed teaching children how to sing songs, she loved to dance, water-ski and travel. During World War II she was a civilian truck driver stateside helping with the war effort here at home. In the 1960's she had been a Secretary for the Director of Nursing at McPherson Hospital.
She was an Original Board member for the Tri-Lakes Subdivision, Hartland, was involved with the PTA and served as a Girl Scout Leader. Surviving are her children; Arthur A. Lorenz and Roberta “Robin” (Lonn) Lorenz- Fenelon. Grandchildren; Tamella (Patrick) Labrolia, Joshua (Krista) Fenelon, Margaret Fenelon, Great Grandchildren; Diane, Zachary, Liam< Josephine, Breanna, Tristan and her sister in law Barbara S. Lorenz also survive.
