He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Thames and Dollie Thames (Edge); and his brothers, Alvin Thames and Ronald Thames. He is survived by: his girlfriend Lisa Thomas; his son Joshua Thames; his sons-in-law, Christopher Combs (Samantha) of New Buffalo, MI and Chase Combs (Rachel) of New Buffalo; and his siblings, Bobby Thames, Betty Thames, Kenny Thames (Brenda), Danny Thames (Janet) of Hartford, Dennis Thames of Paw Paw and Shirley Wojciehowski (Dan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
