He was predeceased by: his father Ralph. He is survived by: his children, Wendy Boyd (Tim), Ralph Black and Bart Black; and his sister Helen Volrath. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvin Funeral Home (8 E Main St, Hartford, MI 49057). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hartford General Baptist Church.
