He is survived by: his daughter Gail M. Branch; his stepson Brent Scoggins of Atlanta, Georgia; his siblings, Carl Griffin of Chicago, IL, Lucy Lee of Maryland, WA, Gert Lockett of Dolton, IL and Ruth Robertson of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Jahelm Branch, Brent Saulic, Aaron, Perrie and Jared Scoggins; and his close friends, James Gipson, Susie Whitmore, Gary Freeman and Roger Stokes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
